Eureka Sprintcar Series is Back This Weekend at Heartland Raceway

This Saturday night the opening round of the Eureka Garages & Sheds Sprintcar Series for the 2019-2020 season is back into action at Heartland Raceway Echuca/ Moama with a very healthy field of drivers from near and far looking for the glory on the night.

This opening round of the 2019-2020 has it all with the top ten drivers from last season’s series all nominated, current Eureka Garages & Sheds Series Champion Corey McCullagh who will driving for David Dickson this season. Then you have Bobby Daly, Brayden Parr, Charles Hunter, Terry Rankin, Brett Milburn, Brenten Farrer, Dennis Jones, Jordyn Charge and Sam Wren rounding out the top ten and they will all be hot to trot on the night.

While the top ten are back some real stiff competition will come from two real hard chargers, Grant Anderson who took a win at Heartland Raceway at the last round of the Series here then you have Matthew Reed who is always on the pace and is also feature winner here. Add in Tasmania Tim Hutchins, World Series regular Jye Okeeffe along with Grant Stanfield and you have one classy field of drivers.

Other drivers that are regular’s competitors in the Serries and always are on hand for the Heartland Raceway rounds are the Solomon brothers of Paul and Chris, both of these boys are definitely front runners on their night. Ryan Davis, Mark Carlin, David Donegan are also ready for another big season in the Eureka Garages & Sheds Sprintcar Series.

Two rookie drivers will make their debut on the night, Ricky Clarke the son of regular sprintcar competitor Darren Clarke and Steven Loader, Steven had a run at the Avalon Raceway practice night a few weeks back putting in some very impressive laps, Steven presented a very impressive looking sprintcar and he will be out to gain some valuable experience on Saturday night. Brett Smith makes his return to the track after a couple of season off while setting up his new business premises.

For the opening round of the 2019-2020 Eureka Garages & Sheds the drivers will qualify for the night’s event with the heat group time trials to get the proceedings underway before their two heat races and main event for the night.

While this is the opening sprintcar event of the 2019-2020 season the Sprintcar Racing Association Victoria is proud and pleased to have the ongoing partnership with Eureka Garages & Sheds as the series naming rights sponsor for a seventeenth straight season, this is outstanding relationship that has enhanced the sport of Sprintcar racing in and around Victoria to rival in Sprintcar competition anywhere in the country.

Add some of the other partners that are in for the 2019-2020 seasons Eureka Garages & Sheds Sprintcar Series Hoosier Tire Australia, Western Nissan, Camden Signage and Building Services, C&H Trucking and thanks to these partners the Series has already amassed over $45000 in the points fund before the turning a wheel thanks to the ongoing partnership of these companies. Then add in the nightly bonus money sponsors Lumbar transport, Steelpipes Australia, Mr Electrics and C&H Transport again there is more on the line than just the prize money each night.

Parr Motorsports and Eliminator Race Wings add more to the pot with end of Series awards, speaking of Parr Motorsports they are now the official Victorian agents for the Cross Family Eliminator Race Wings products.

Western Nissan in Caroline Springs will once again support two end of Series awards with the he most cars passed in the Main events of the Series and a random draw for drivers that finish from eleventh place thru to twentieth place with a random draw that will see the winners of both awards take home $1500 each.

Eureka Garages & Sheds along with C & H Trucking and Camden Signage & Building Service will also fund the end of Series drivers ten award that will see one of the top ten eligible drivers take home $8000 cash.

All in all the 2019-2020 Eureka Garages & Sheds Series is going to get under with plenty on the plate right from round one thru to round twelve that already has $45,000 plus in the points fund plus the other monies and awards that add up to over $60,000.

Heartland Raceway Echuca/Moama for round of the 2019-2020 Eureka Garages & Sheds Sprintcar this Saturday night the 19th of October, on track action will commence at approximately 5.45pm with support from the V8 Dirt Modifieds and the VMPA Sedans.
