SRA of Vic Release Their 2019-2020 Intended Race Dates

The Sprintcar Racing Association of Victoria has been in discussion with many venue operators that wish to conduct Sprintcar competition in the 2019-2020 season in and around Victorian and all indications are that the new season will have plenty of racing for both the Open and 360 sprintcars with many high profile and Blue Ribbon events on the calendar once again.
Whilst the SRA of Victoria is pleased to put out this tentative planned race date calendar all dates are still subject to final discussions with the venue operators and approval by the Sprintcar Racing Association of Victorian Inc. There may be other dates added or some date may change prior to the release of final 2019-2020 dates.
With many of the 2018-2019 season sponsor looking to be part of the new seasons racing once again the Sprintcar Racing Association of Victorian is pleased to confirm that Eureka Garages & Sheds will be back as the naming rights sponsor to the Victorian based Sprintcar Series thanks to Domenic Sabatino and his Team at all the Eureka Garages & Sheds branches.
So let’s have a look at the intended dates so far for the 2019-2020 Victorian Sprintcar Seasons.
October 2019. 12th Avalon Raceway – Eureka Sprintcar Series Series. 19th Heartland Raceway – Eureka Sprintcar Series.
November 2019. 2nd Premier Speedway – Eureka Sprintcar Series. 9th Avalon Raceway – Jackpot Invitational. 16th Premier Speedway – Victorian Open Sprintcar Title. 23rd Mt Gambier – Eureka Sprintcar Series. 30th Western Speedway Hamilton – SRA 360 Sprintcars Gold Cup.
January 2020. 1st Premier Speedway – WSS. 22nd Avalon Raceway – Presidents Cup. 23rd Borderline Speedway – Kings Challenge. 24th 25th & 26th Premier Speedway Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic.
The Australian Open Sprintcar Title at Latrobe Speedway Tasmania is on Friday the 31st of January and Saturday the 1st of February 2020.
February 2020. 8th Avalon Raceway SRA 360 Sprintcar Title – TBC. 15th Western Speedway Hamilton – Eureka Sprintcar Series. 22rd Heartland Raceway – Eureka Sprintcar Series.
March 2020. 7th & 8th Simpson Speedway -The SCCA Australian 360 Sprintcar Title. 14th Avalon Raceway – Eureka Sprintcar Series / Great Southern Showdown. 28th Premier Speedway – Eureka Sprintcar Series – Grand Final.
April 2020. 4th Heartland Raceway - SRA 360 Sprintcars Challenge. 10th Avalon Raceway – Easter Sprintcar Trail night 1. 11th Borderline Speedway – Easter Sprintcar Trail night 2. 12th Premier Speedway – Easter Sprintcar Trail night 3. 18th Avalon Raceway – SRA 360 Sprintcar Diggers Cup
Redline Raceway Ballarat are yet to confirm a date for a round of the Eureka Garages & Sheds Series due to a clash with the Australian 360 Sprintcar Title at Simpson Speedway on their preferred date.
Some good news for the Classic lovers, the Premier Speedway Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic returns to the long weekend in January next season.
Once again the SRA of Vic will be conducted 360 sprintcar competition during the season with some dates yet to be finalised that will see the popular SRA 360 Triple Crown Series conducted again.
The final dates and other 2019-2020 SRA of Vic Inc season information will be confirmed in the near future but one thing is for sure that Sprintcar racing in and around Victoria is looking very strong once again in the 2019-2020.
