Its back to Business for the Eureka Sprintcar Series at Avalon

The Sprintcar Racing Association of Victoria gets back down to business in the new year with round eight of the Eureka Garages & Sheds Sprintcar Series at Avalon raceway this Saturday night the 11th of January with a cracker of a field entered for this event. Current Series point’s leader Brett Milburn heads the field who will be joined by the current Eureka Garages & Sheds Series Champion Corey McCullagh along with both Grant Anderson and Jordyn Charge who have both won two Eureka Series rounds each so far this season.
Multiple Series Champion Matthew Reed makes a return to racing for this event after a couple of months off, Matthew should be on the money at this round of the Series.
While Tasmania will have the representation once again of both Tim Hutchins and Tate Frost these drivers will also be have fellow Tassie racer Kurt Luttrell join them to fly the flag for Tasmania.
Brett Milburn has a handy lead at this stage of the Series but Jordyn Charge, Bobby Daly and Chris Solomon who are only separated by one hundred and nine points between them, they will not only be trying to beat each other and move up the point ladder on the night but they will all be trying to close the gap to Brett Milburn.
Some of the other drivers in the field that must be considered as main contenders for a round win are Jye Okeeffe, Grant Stansfield, Charles Hunter, John Vogels and Jacob Smith who was very impressive at the last round of the Series at Simpson taking third place on the night.
Terry Rankin’s last two rounds of the Series have been on the upside for the Grovedale driver and if the good form continues he could be a dark horse for a placing on the night.
Other Eureka Garages & Sheds Series regulars in the forty four car field are Adam King, Brayden Parr, David Donegan, Eddie Lumbar, Mark Carlin, Sam Wren and Andrew Hughes who will be in the mix on the night looking to qualify direct into the Eureka A Main event. but that will be no easy tasks as all the drivers will have to contest the Time Trial heat qualifying and their two heat races to gain there points for the main events.
