C&H Trucking Pro Sprintcar Series heads to Southern 500 Speedway
Author : SRA Media

Portland’s Southern 500 Speedway is ready for round two of the SRA C&H Trucking Pro Sprintcar Series next Saturday night with a strong entry list of drivers headed by the current C&H Trucking Series Champion Jordan Rae, Jordan will be joined by some of the other top contender, Steven Loader, Sam Wren, Paul Solomon, Mathew Symons and local Portland racer Daniel Storer.

This Saturday night is the first of two rounds of the Series that is booked in at the venue, the second round is scheduled for the 6th of April 2024 that will also double as the Victorian Pro Sprintcar Title. Southern 500 Speedway will also run a round of the SRA Open Sprintcar Series in February 2024 in between these events.

Many of the drivers in the field for this Saturday are looking to contest the entire C&H Trucking Pro Sprint Series but the experience from this round will also give the teams good information for when they return for the Victorina Title.

Jordan Rae, Steven Loader and Matthew Symons put in strong performances at the opening round of the Series and Premier Speedway, all three drivers should be right in the mix once again on Saturday night.

Two regular open Sprintcar racers Jack Lee and Jacob Smith are saddling up with their 360 power plants to look for glory on the night, both drivers have won in the Pro Sprintcar class and are sure to be major players on the night.

Josh Buckingham, Justin Barton, Harry Ross and Shaun Lyness are very established drivers and all more than capable of challenging for a race win.

Kim Loon and Thomas McDonald are two of the rookies in the field, at Premier Speedway a few weeks back both drivers showed very good form and this meeting will only help improve their skills in the sprintcar ranks.

Other drivers entered are Justin Drew, Stephen Hodder, Steven Horton, Luke Cole and lady racer who is putting her toe in the water Kate Searle this weekend.

On track action is scheduled to commence at 5pm for all classes, for more information, times and admission pricing go to Southern500speedway.com web site.
